The Creator

We look around today and see so many things we’ve invented and developed. Every day there is something new. New systems. New technology. New solutions. And we marvel at how creative human beings are.

But creativity didn’t start with us.

The Bible opens with a simple, powerful statement:

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
— Genesis 1:1

Before there was innovation, there was intention.

God is not reacting to the world.
He is the One who formed it.

Before He created man, He prepared an environment. Light. Land. Water. Order. Boundaries. Rhythm. He spoke, and structure appeared.

“And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good.”
— Genesis 1:31

That means nothing was accidental. Nothing was random. Creation was deliberate.

Scripture also tells us something deeper:

“The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens.”
— Proverbs 3:19

Creation was not impulsive. It was wise. It was thoughtful. It was designed.

God saw the end from the beginning.

“Declaring the end from the beginning…”
— Isaiah 46:10

He knew what He wanted the earth to be like.
He knew the purpose of man.
He knew the outcome before He spoke the first word of creation.

That changes how we see life.

We are not here by chance.
We are not navigating a random existence.
We are living inside something that was intentionally designed.

“So God created man in His own image…”
— Genesis 1:27

We create because we were created by a Creator.

We design because we were designed by One who designs.

Everything about life begins here.

Not with us.
With Him.

It’s simple… though we often forget it.
