The Model

Knowing the instructions is one thing.

Seeing them lived out is another.

Because over time, people had moved far from God’s original design. Even the Scriptures were sometimes misunderstood or used in ways that missed their true purpose.

So God sent a model.

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”
— John 1:14

Jesus didn’t just talk about God’s ways. He lived them.

He showed us what obedience looks like.
He showed us what love looks like.
He showed us what humility looks like.
He showed us what faith looks like.

When people wanted to understand the Father, Jesus said:

“He who has seen Me has seen the Father.”
— John 14:9

In other words, if you want to understand how life with God is meant to look, watch Jesus.

His life was the clearest example of what it means to walk in alignment with God’s design.

Peter later described it this way:

“Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps.”
— 1 Peter 2:21

An example. A model.

Not just someone to admire, but someone to learn from.

When we look at Jesus, we see how the Creator’s design and the instructions in the Word are meant to be lived out in real life.

That’s why this journey can be simpler than we often make it.

The Creator established the design.
The Manual explains it.
The Model shows us how to live it.

What This Means

Life with God is not meant to be confusing.

It begins with something very simple:

Acknowledge the Creator.
Learn from the Manual.
Follow the Model.

It’s simple… though we often complicate it.
